The way to discovery
and innovation is through need. At Bridgen Manufacturing Inc.
we take that need by the horns - the end result being products
that do what they are intended to do, which is to do a job and
do it right.

Innovation first lead us to design
and develop a system that would allow an operator to keep
the winch on a D7H AND have a fully functional
Grapple Head, something that was, at the time, unheard
of in the logging industry.
The need
for a better grapple head lead us to design the G101B
Grapple Head which has:
- 16,500
lbs. of Squeezing pressure on the tips of the tines
for superior holding quality of all types of wood and
for all types of conditions.
- Heavy
Duty construction throughout using T1-100 steel and
High quality welding material.
- Swivel
housing is completely removable and self contained (Timkin
taper roller bearings, seals on both ends and a double
lock nut system for added dependability).
- Special
bracing on the tines make them fatigue free.
- Uses Heavy Duty cylinders with
1/2" wall tubing.
- Uses
Caterpillar type cylinder packing for extreme service.
- Uses oversized pins and cylinder
rods.
- Uses Caterpillar type steel
bushings throughout the entire head.
- Inspection ports in all the
locations that they NEED to be. All grease nipples are
in easy to see and use locations for longer life and
service.

From that beginning
has come design modifications to fit pretty much any machine and
suit any need. We have booms and grapple head systems in place
all over North America and a good number overseas.
Attention to Detail
All aspects of installation,
operation and maintenance are carefully considered in our design
process. The result of this attention to details is an end product
that will perform to 100% of it's ability for a very long time.
With proper maintenence under normal to severe operating conditions
your Treetow equipment will provide you with years of trouble-free
service. We do all the work on the design so you don't have to
worry about it.
