Innovation first lead us to design and develop a system that would allow an operator to keep the winch on a D7H AND have a fully functional Grapple Head, something that was, at the time, unheard of in the logging industry.

The need for a better grapple head lead us to design the G101B Grapple Head which has:

• 16,500 lbs. of Squeezing pressure on the tips of the tines for superior holding quality of all types of wood and for all types of conditions.
• Heavy Duty construction throughout using T1-100 steel and High quality welding material.
• Swivel housing is completely removable and self contained (Timkin taper roller bearings, seals on both ends and a double lock nut system for added dependability).
• Special bracing on the tines make them fatigue free.
• Uses Heavy Duty cylinders with 1/2" wall tubing.
• Uses Caterpillar type cylinder packing for extreme service.
• Uses over sized pins and cylinder rods.
• Uses Caterpillar type steel bushings throughout the entire head.
• Inspection ports in all the locations that they NEED to be. All grease nipples are in easy to see and use locations for longer life and service.

From that beginning has come design modifications to fit nearly any machine and suit any need. We have booms, power packs and grapple head systems in place all over North America as well as a strong International presence.
